Here at St Raphael's Preschool, our mission is to foster children's early learning and development in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment using the principles of the Aistear Curriculum Framework and Síolta The National Quality Framework.
We are dedicated to providing quality and meaningful early learning experiences through a child-centered approach, providing all children with the opportunity to thrive in all areas of their holistic development. Our team is committed to using an all inclusive and flexible approach within their practice to reflect the individual child.
At St Raphael's Preschool, we view children as active agents in their own learning. We encourage children to have a role and make choice in their early learning journey to instill positive learning dispositions, develop confident learners and to promote a positive transition to primary school.
Partnership with Parents
As their first educator, we place significant value on parental involvement, family participation and fostering a sense of community and support within our preschool. Our team is committed to creating a warm, inviting space to welcome parents and families to collaborate with us on their children's learning journey through open lines of communication, parent/family days, regular updates and parent-teacher meetings.
ECCE Programme
St Raphael's Preschool is a ECCE service that operates Monday-Friday from 08.50am - 11.50am.
The Early Childhood Care and Education scheme provides 2 free years of preschool for children of the age of 2 years and 8 months.
